Soft pastel | 52.8cm x 64.5cm

This piece aims to convey feelings of hope and joy. To me, dolphins are the embodiment of pure joy, with their positive energy and playful nature and little else brings me greater joy than the sensation of diving under a wave, the energy of the ocean washing over me.
When it comes to hope, I feel that nothing else conveys it more than a sunrise, with its warm, bright hues literally casting light and warmth over the world as it appears above the horizon, bringing with it the promise of new possibilities.
My hope is that by looking at this piece, you feel at least a little more hopeful and joyous, even for a moment, and that it reminds you of the importance of these things.
Hope and joy bring healing and attract greater things into our life. Even the teensiest drop of hope can keep us hanging on.
Hope motivates us. It’s what brings change.
As a conservationist, I live in the hope of seeing humanities connection and relationship with nature healed, of seeing the ocean respected and fully conserved and of seeing ALL dolphins (and other species in general) free from tanks and cages and as happy as they are in this artwork.
