My Art

About
Art is something that has always been a part of me. I’ve always had a knack for creativity and enjoyed any chance to flesh out that side of my brain.
Despite my passion for art and that fact that all of my electives in my senior years of high school were based in the arts, I didn’t really considered pursuing art further, when I thought my calling was towards conserving and protecting dolphins and the ocean.
But, though I mostly neglected it for a few years, my pull to create art has never really left me and eventually, I realised that art can be an effective and important tool in educating and raising awareness about issues.
So I gave my attention to my art again and started creating realistic soft pastel and graphite drawings that depicts the beauty of the ocean (with, of course, a focus on whales and dolphins) and using them to educate, raise awareness and draw emotional connections between viewers and my subjects.
Sustainability
Ever conscious of my environmental impact and wanting to reduce that impact in all areas of my life as much as I possibly can, I use art supplies that are made sustainably and don’t contain any animal products.
All of my frames are made with 100% recycled material.
I also have a whole stash of cardboard saved up over time to use to package and ship my art to buyers.
